Drawdeck x Dubai Hills Mall
Another successful project completed for the opening of the Dubai Hills Mall.
The mall, which is Emaar-owned, has joined the ranks of its sister, The Dubai Mall, and will now be included in the group’s large-scale shopping malls portfolio. The design created by Emaar’s Art Curator, Malorie Fourrier, features colour-blocking techniques that play with shapes and sizes and illustrates the love for music, culture, connectivity, and fashion.
“The mural is a reflection of the bright, vibrant community of Dubai Hills Estate. The graphics represent the different areas of the mall, such as High Street, The Boulevard, Main Street, Broadway and the Walks. The bold and fun characters welcome you to Dubai Hills mall and act as an introduction to the rest of the memorable artwork within”
Malorie Fourrier, Art Curator at Emaar Properties PJSC.

Hand-painted by the Drawdeck team, the mural runs just under 0.5 kilometres along the exterior walls adjacent to the mall’s car park. The enormous visual represents the mall’s experiences and will meet residents and mallgoers before they embark on their shopping journey.

Rightly so, at almost half a kilometre in size, the mural took a full 32 days to complete by a team of 12 belonging to a diverse group of nationalities ranging from the UK, Jordan, Ukraine, Philippines, and India, as they took on the challenge of recreating and transforming the painting from a digital screen to reality.
