Mareike Böhmer

Mareike Bohmer is freelance artist from Germany and my creative heart beats for abstract art and nature photography.

It all started with abstract graphics, which back in 2012 were still very colorful and geometric. Since then she have developed further. Many trips to Scandinavia in particular influenced my style, and so her artworks became softer, more organic and gentler in terms of colors. For the past year and a half she have also been painting larger pictures on canvas, whereas before she mainly painted on paper.
